About new, replacement or additional bins
To get a bin you must be located within the London Borough of Barnet.
Containers provided for household waste must not be used to dispose of commercial or business waste. Business waste customers should visit our business waste pages
All bins remain the property of the Council.
Before you order, we need to let you know that bin deliveries are currently running behind schedule. We apologise for the delay and will deliver bins that have been requested as soon as possible.
What you will need to order a bin
We need to know why you want a new bin. Is it because you need:
- a new bin because you have never had a bin at your address
- an additional bin
- a replacement bin because yours went missing
- a replacement because yours is damaged
We will charge for the replacement of any bin that has gone missing, become damaged or destroyed through no fault of the council. If your bin is damaged you will be asked to upload photographic evidence to prove this.
Where charges apply you will need to have a payment card ready to complete your order.
