About carers parking permits
If you live in Barnet within a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and need essential home visits by a doctor, district nurse, similar healthcare professional or voluntary carers, you can apply for a carers parking permit.
Carer permits can only be issued to individuals living in their own home to provide parking for healthcare visits.
We issue permits for a 6 month, 12 month, 18 month, 24 month, 30 month and 36 month duration.
Residents can give their carers permit to such visitors to enable them to park in a resident permit holders, permit holders or in any 'permit holders past this point' area within the controlled hours only during their visit. The permit must be returned by the carer to the resident after each visit.
Signs on the street will give more information about the zone and its operating hours.
The Carers permits issued are printed, which means that the permit needs to be displayed as per the terms and conditions of use.
You should allow at least 5 working days for your printed permit to arrive once you have completed your order. The permit is posted via the Royal Mail recorded delivery service, which means that someone must be at home to sign for the permit.
We will not replace permits which are lost in the post but can assist customers to locate orders by providing the Royal Mail tracking information.
