Housing inspections
Skip to:
We provide a service to inspect accommodation and provide advice and guidance in relation to compliance with the relevant legislation or existing or proposed use of dwellings.
There are two types of Housing Inspection services that are available:
- Inspection reports for Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) or houses that are going to be proposed for that use
- Inspection reports for single occupancy or houses that are for that use.
A report and advice is provided after the inspection. This service may be of interest to you if you want:
- confidence that your property meets the relevant standards e.g. HHSRS
- advice on a proposal to convert your property to a house in multiple occupation.
- assurance that your property is safe and adequate for the proposed number of occupants.
