Help with basic living costs

How much you can get

Every sponsored guest is entitled to a £200 payment to help with basic living costs.

If you already have a UK bank account

Email us at homesforukraine@barnet.gov.uk asking for the payment and giving us your bank details.

We will arrange for the payment to be paid direct into that account.

If you don't have a UK bank account

We can offer a cash payment service.

All guests will need to come to our office at 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, NW9 4EW to get the payment.

This payment is only for those sponsored by the Homes for Ukraine scheme. We will check that you can get this so please bring your documents with you; this could include any letters from the Home Office and your passport.

When to visit

Please note we are not open on the 8th and 15th of December.

Please only visit us for your payment on these date and times and ask for the contact person at our reception desk:

• Nicole: Wednesday 13 December, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Karen: Wednesday 3 January,  9:00 am to midday
• Nicole: Wednesday 17 January,  10:00 to 1:00 pm
• Karen: Tuesday 30 January,  9:00 am to midday
